Time to review our tech – can you help?
Getting the most out of our technology, and doing it 100% securely, has become more important than ever now that we’re all working from home at CADAS. But of course budgets are also tighter than ever, too. So we really need to be sure we’re making the right decisions to support our clients the best we can – during virus-restricted periods (which may well come round again) as well as during times when seeing clients face-to-face becomes an option again. That includes having tech we can access from all over the county and being able to work more effectively and affordably over phone and video call, whatever technology our clients are able to access.
So we’re looking for a volunteer to step up and lead a review of what we’re doing now, best practice in the sector and what the options for the future might be. The role would involve would involve chairing a sub-group of staff, trustees and industry experts to:
• consider CADAS’s tech needs in the immediate and long-term future
• review our existing systems and arrangements (efficiency, security, cost etc)
• produce PEST/SWOT analysis-type documents
• create a plan that the charity can then work towards as resources allow.
