£482.50 raised for CADAS at The Body Shop Home Event
Last Thursday (17th March 2022), CADAS and The Body Shop Home met with a group of lovely ladies at Shills of Cockermouth, for a night of fun, games, make-up tutorials, and more, all to raise much-needed funds for CADAS.
The night started well with an icebreaker game of Bitchy Bingo, hosted by Rachel Kaplan from the Body S
hop, followed by a tutorial on how to apply eye makeup to a hooded eyelid.
Samples of dreamy lotions and potions were then passed around the tables, while raffle tickets and lucky squares were sold, for a chance to win a prize from; Shill of Cockermouth, The Body Shop, Fredericks Bar & Restaurant, Samantha Jayne Hair, Goody 2 Shoes, and much more.
Leah Davies, Fundraising Coordinator for CADAS commented, “We had such a lovely night, I’d like to thank everyone that came along, our host Rachel Kaplan,
and Shills of Cockermouth for allowing us to use their fabulous venue.”
“The night raised a grand total of £482.50 which is
absolutely fantastic, the money raised will help us to continue with all the amazing work that we do across Cumbria, to reduce the harm caused by substance use.”
