The causes of addiction and the solutions for helping people to recover from it are multi-factorial. It is important for partner organisations to effectively work together so service-users are at the centre of all decisions that are made. This approach is proven to help people overcome their addiction, rebuild relationships, improve physical and mental health and ensure they are in appropriate accommodation as well as completing purposeful activities such as seeking employment and volunteering in their communities.
There are a number of events coming up that are beneficial for those making decisions about addiction services and who have a vested interest in public health; health and wellbeing; and safer communities.
