CADAS provides support to family & friends affected by addiction in Cumbria.

Worried about someone else?

At CADAS we don’t just support people struggling with dependency or addiction issues – we are also there for ‘affected others’ – these are people who are affected by, or worried about someone else’s addictive behaviours.

We understand how difficult it is to watch someone you love struggle with the effects of drug or alcohol use or another addictive behaviour, but we are unable to take referrals from you as a family member, carer or colleague on their behalf.

What you can do is encourage them to contact us and share our information with them and we can help you with that and offer One to One support to help you with the situation or refer you to a support group of people who are possibly living with a similar situation.

Have a look at the statements below and click on the one that makes the most sense for you.  If none of them quite fit, give us a call on our freephone helpline 0800 2 54 56 58 and we can have a chat about the support we can offer.

You can be completely confident that we will never disclose anything you tell us unless required to do so by law.
