Members from the recent Barrow-in-Furness Alcohol Inquiry from the Ormsgill Ward have identified and recommended that training and education are vital to tackling and reducing alcohol related harm within our local community. In response to these recommendations NHS Cumbria’s Clinical Commissioning Group have commissioned Cadas to deliver Alcohol Brief Intervention Training (ABIT) and a ‘Train the Trainer’ Programme to local partners both from the statutory, voluntary and private sector in the Barrow-in-Furness area at no financial cost to your organisation.…
